前4種約莫可歸屬為「考古資料」大項的瑪雅史基本史料。石刻與木刻文字自當包括銘文材料。

（1）《瑪雅象形文字編》（A Catalog of Maya Hieroglyphs）
在網路上可以查到奧克拉荷馬大學出版社（University of Oklahoma Press，官網：https://www.oupress.com/）曾在1962年出版過《瑪雅象形文字編》（A Catalog of Maya Hieroglyphs），由於已是半世紀前的刊物，大概也很難得緣見。不過亞馬遜網站上的書籍資料則為1991年出版的，未審何是？
